My time in the MasterChef kitchen is finally over. I fought hard and tried my best and came out more confident and so proud myself. I had some wins and a lot of moments where I strugglebussed my way through the challenge. Thus is reality tv. I was so scared to screw up a dish, I’d inevitably mess it up. haha
The biggest thing I have taken away from the competition are the lifelong friends I have made. I love each one of them. We supported each other when we were missing our families, having a tough day, and took pride in each other’s victories. I’m so happy to have been a part of a cast like this.
Also I want to say thank you to everyone who sent me sweet, kind, encouraging messages throughout the season. It’s so easy to get caught up with the negative comments and dwell in the misery of internet trolls. Your kindness was much needed and appreciated beyond belief. I can’t say thank you enough.
So what’s next for me? Well, I will continue writing my blog here. I’ll also be starting a Youtube channel soon full of recipes and adventures! Career-wise, I’ve started a consultancy to help food / food tech startups with business development, social media /marketing, and recipe creation. It’s a great fit for me personally as I can leverage my previous skills with my passion for food! And there is another secret project that I hope to share details about soon! All I know there are bigger and better things out there for me and who knows maybe a cookbook in the future?

You were freakin’ amazing! I know first hand how difficult it is to overcome meat challenges and you rocked at it! IMHO you overcame the most difficult challenges of cooking with something conceptually and not being able to taste it. That in itself deserves praise. You go Girl!

Hetal I’m just watching season 6 now. I live in Italy and they always air the show after it has already aired and concluded in the USA. I’m so sad to hear you didn’t win. I’m totally rooting for you here and loving your sweet humble demeanor. I still don’t know who wins…I’m trying to avoid reading about it. You should be so proud of what you accomplished. xo
