Tomato Rasam Soup

Rasam | Pretty Polymath

This month for the Secret Recipe Club I was paired up with Nayna’s blog Simply Sensational Food. She’s a fellow Indian vegetarian so I was so excited to check out her recipes. I tried a few items like her morning berry smoothie and apple muffins and they turned out really tasty. She has tons of eggless baking recipes which I really appreciate since most of my family doesn’t eat eggs due to cultural reasons.Ā

I decided to share her South Indian style tomato rasamĀ recipe since I haven’t been feeling too well recently and this mildly spiced tomato soup has been a godsend for me.Ā Ā I added garam masala to the soup to add more flavor, however, it’s a delicious without it. Rasam is typically served with rice, but I ended up just having the soup on its own. Nayna’s recipe is super easy to make and only took me 15 minutes! That definitely a winner in my book.

Also, I know I’ve been MIA lately, but it’s for a good reason! Can’t wait to share my exciting news with you guys later this week!
