It has been HOT these past couple of weeks and when Elara comes home from school, she wants a cool drink to enjoy. She’s been into fruit smoothies lately, which she loves to help me make. For fruit smoothies, I like to substitute water or any liquid with Florida Orange Juice to help blend everything down and add a little tang and sweetness without having to add sugar! Smoothies are a great way to get nutrition into your kids.

Not only is 100% orange juice good for your immune system (8 ounces is an excellent source of Vitamin C), but along with water it also helps keep you hydrated which is so important during these hot days. Elara is running around all day in the playground and on the blacktop, and it’s hard to get her to drink water, but a smoothie with Florida Orange Juice is a lot more convincing!

I’ve recently learned so much about the benefits of Florida OJ! Florida Orange Juice is the Original Wellness Drink for a reason! Florida OJ research and its nutrients support that it may benefit your heart, brain, skin, bone, and immune system health! It delivers/has/includes potassium, vitamin B6, and a variety of other minerals and vitamins that help you and your body stay healthy. And since it has no added sugar, I feel good giving it to Elara! \

The serving size of Florida Orange Juice for children aged one to six, is 4-6 ounces following the 100% fruit juice limits/guidelines set by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

There are so many great benefits of starting your day off with Florida Orange Juice. Back in the old days, we used to start every Saturday morning with Florida OJ. OJ and chevdo (a savory Indian snack mix!) was my absolute favorite combo! I have so many memories tied to weekend breakfasts – since it was when my family all made sure to have a meal together.

In addition to all the amazing benefits you get from Florida Orange Juice, it’s also a versatile ingredient that can be used in countless recipes. I love to whip up a good mocktail on any given weekend just to enjoy with dinner or use it as an ingredient in baking – doesn’t an orange-flavored cake sound amazing?

I’m always thinking about what I can add to my diet to make it more nutritious (without compromising taste!) and Florida OJ is the perfect midday pick me up. Vitamin C helps keep my skin glowing, and minerals like potassium and magnesium can help support my blood pressure, heartbeat, and nutrient levels, and so much more! Plus, Florida OJ has a bioactive plant compound called hesperidin, which research shows may have blood pressure benefits.

As a busy mama, I sometimes feel like I have no time for myself. However, I really learned to appreciate having a mindful breakfast and create some healthy habits when I start my day. I usually take whatever book I’m reading at the time, sit down at the table, eat a bowl of oats or make an omelet and pour a glass of 100% orange juice to get my first serving of fruit for the day and just take a moment for myself. I highly recommend starting your day off with a moment alone just to set the tone for how you want the rest of the day to be! It’s honestly been tough making the transition to my mindful mornings, but it’s so worth it! I am always so busy with work, Elara, and Rhut that I sometimes forget to consider my own health needs. I absolutely have zero time to get sick, so I really appreciate the immune support I get from the nutrients found in Florida Orange Juice.

I’ve also recently started working out again, and it’s so important for me to be hydrated during my sessions. Along with plenty of water, Florida Orange Juice gives me an extra pep in my step, and a sustainable energy boost so I can get through my workouts. I really appreciate those teeny moments in my day that I can enjoy an ice-cold glass of juice and feel good about it!

When the afternoon hits, Rhut, Elara, and I usually all enjoy some sort of salad for lunch – we’ve been loving any bagged salad! And I always pour a glass of Florida Orange Juice for Elara since it’s the Original Wellness Drink and is full of nutrients the body needs. She can’t get enough of it! We’ve signed her up for tons of activities this fall to give her an opportunity to figure out what she really loves. She’s doing dance, theater, swimming, and more! She’s been needing tons of energy lately and because she’s been so out and about, the immune support from the nutrients found in Florida Orange Juice is great since we don’t want her to catch anything.

Overall, Florida Orange Juice has been an amazing addition to my family’s daily routine and all the benefits are just unmatched! Click here if you are interested in learning more about Florida Orange Juice or want to know where to buy it!
