Colorful vanilla eggless spritz cookies. Makes 24 cookies

- 4 1/2 tbsp (65 g) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 3 tbsp plus 1 1/2 tsp (43g) granulated sugar
- 1 tsp (3g) cornstarch
- 1 tbsp (14g) heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup (83g) all purpose flour
- gel food coloring (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Add 4 1/2 tbsp (65 g) unsalted butter, 3 tbsp plus 1 1/2 tsp (43g) granulated sugar, and 1 tsp (3g) cornstarch into a mixing bowl and mix for 2 minutes until light and fluffy. Add 1 tbsp (14g) heavy cream, 1/4 tsp vanilla extract, and 1/8 tsp salt, Mix for an additional minute. Fold in 2/3 cup (83g) all-purpose flour until well combined.
- At this point, you can fill your cookie press, press out your cookies, and bake. However, if you want colorful cookies, split the dough into 2-3 bowls and color each dough with your choice of food coloring. Fill the cookies press by smearing each color up the sides of the cookies press. Place the cookie press flat on the baking pan and press the cookies directly onto an ungreased baking sheet 2 inches apart.
- Freeze the cookies on the tray for 10 minutes before baking for 9-11 minutes on the oven. Remove the tray from the oven and let the cookies cool completely on the tray.
