I have seen Julep’s Maven Subscription Box around for a while and I decided to give it a try since they have a promotion where the 1st box you receive is free when you use the code FREEBOX! Normally the box costs $19.99/ month, which isn’t bad for over $40 worth items. You choose between having all nail polishes, nail polish and beauty items, or all beauty items your box. I am obsessed with nail polish so I went with the It Girl Welcome Box which is a nail polish only box. This month I got these 3 pretty peacock-themed colors. The nail polish itself was really good quality and it was pretty opaque after one coat! The white polish had little flecks of gold glitter in it and I can’t wait to do a nail art tutorial including this pretty color!. The purple and blue polishes were also slightly shimmery. Usually I’m not a fan of shimmery polishes because I think they can look to teenybopper-ish, but these had just enough shimmer to them. They also threw in two small nail buffers in the box as well.
