I’m on a straight citrus kick! They are everywhere! It’s hard not to go to the farmers market and not buy any! This week I went nuts again and got some lemons to go with my oranges. This time I’m making a quick citrus spritzer, full of vitamin C and a great way to keep those soda cravings at bay.
The spritzer ended up tasting like San Pellegrino’s blood orange sparkling drink – I’m not mad about that. I really liked it!
This recipe is super simple, and only requires heating the juice just enough so that the sugar will dissolve into it. Don’t bring it to a boil! It gives it a weird funky flavor that isn’t very tasty!
