It’s also getting warmer over here in San Francisco! Yesterday, I took Elara out to the park and I actually had to take off her jacket! That never happens! I thought it might just be hot flashes, but it wasn’t! Everyone else was enjoying the warm sun. I even considered going swimming!
With warm weather comes cool drinks. Agua fresca was my go to when I was pregnant, and it’s my go to now. Agua fresca is a Mexican drink that is basically fruit blended with water, lime juice and a little bit of sugar.
You can strain the blended agua fresca to get rid of the pulp so you have a smooth drink. I didn’t strain my agua fresca after I blended it because I actually don’t mind the texture. Also, you can omit the sugar to make it healthier or use a sugar substitute.
This is a great drink to make for a BBQ, picnic or for an outdoor Taco Tuesday! It’s so easy, you have no excuse not to try it out!
