This weekend my family and I were invited to join Huggies to help bring awareness to their No Baby Unhugged event at the San Francisco 49ers game! Fans brought unopened packages of diapers to donate to the National Diaper Bank Network and Help A Mother Out, San Francisco’s local diaper bank.
Diaper donation bins were found all around the stadium. Elara and Rhut dropped our package of Huggies that we bought from Safeway off in the bin and headed over to the tent to learn more about Huggies No Baby Unhugged initiative.
At the tent, I met Anu, a representative from Help a Mother Out. She filled me in that the “Huddle Up” for San Francisco’s Biggest Diaper Drive event typically brings in 6,000-7,000 diapers! Overall, Huggies No Baby Unhugged has provided ongoing support for The National Diaper Bank Network and has donated more than 200 million diapers (wow!) and baby wipes, including critical donations during times of crisis.
Most families who need diapers come from all walks of life. This event is so essential to the community, and I’m so happy to have been a part of it and bring attention to an issue that everyone can help with!
If you’re interested in learning how you can help, you can donate diapers using the Huggies No Baby Unhugged Amazon registry to send diapers to Help a Mother Out, the local member of the National Diaper Bank Network, OR simply donate your Huggies Rewards points to benefit the National Diaper Bank Network.
